Oh my gosh. The past two weeks have been crazy busy! The funny thing is the more crazy it gets the busier! Here's a little peek at what I've been doing...
Mon: Enter into a frustrating week where there is lots of talk (and fear) of cutbacks in our district due to some financial messiness. Watch Jen's girls rehearse their dances for their upcoming competition. Moved to tears at how amazing they are.
Tues: Run a bunch of errands with Mr. Smith including a 2 hour trip to the library looking for vintage books. We score 60 (!!!) of them! They will be perfect for our upcoming awards ceremony. Enjoy a much needed drink and delicious dinner at Lazy Dog.
Wed: The kids are being awful. Report cards went home and I'm getting a ton of emails begging me to change grades. It's all quite exhausting and draining. No kids show up for tutoring so we head out for some girls drinks.
Thurs: Supposed to tutor but it's a no go. Head home to do some things around the house.
Sat: Meet with travel agent. Start organizing project at home. Learn something that upsets me a great deal. I'm done for the day. But the evening ends on a good note with Mr. Smith taking me out to an amazing dinner in Malibu.
Sun: A much needed massage. And by much needed I mean the stress of not knowing if or where I'll be working next year coupled with crazy kids has done a number on my shoulders! And I have quite a few built up that I need to use asap! (Massage Envy membership.) I ended up having an amazing massage and then head out to Ventura to scrap with Jen.
Tues: Early Valentine's celebration with my guy. Our schedules are so hectic this is the only time we have this week to spend together. We head off to Roy's, which is where we were going to spend our first Valentine's Day together except I got feverishly sick that day. This night made up for it!
Wed: VERY upset because of an unwanted email. Can't shake the feeling. Got to school at 7:45. Didn't leave until 9:00pm. Whew! This evening we hosted our 2nd annual People's Choice Awards. (I'll talk about this more later.) My nominee brought me roses that were just beautiful.
Sat: Biotech from 8:30-5pm.
Sun: 9am breakfast and then headed home.
